A powerful earthquake with a magnitude of 7.3 on the Richter scale struck Indonesia this morning. After the earthquake that hit the Moluccas area, authorities issued warning to the people saying hazardous tsunamis are likely within 300 km radius of the quake's epicenter. The earthquake struck 150 kilometers north-northwest off the coast of Kota Ternate at 10:31 a.m. local time at a depth of 46 km, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
