The Directorate of Medical Education of Telangana Government has held the striking junior doctors ineligible for exams for next year. The DME said that they will rethink over the orders if the striking doctors submit a written statement that they have withdrawn the strike. The junior doctors would not be eligible to take the examination based on the attendance criteria. PG students need 80% attendance and MBBS students need 75% to be eligible for examinations. With this, 2000 M.D and M.S and 1500 MBBS students will be ineligible to partake in the examinations.
