Indian Navy, since its inception, has been playing very crucial in the security of the country as it is surrounded by waters on its three sides. Last evening, an unwarranted accident took place as a torpedo ship sunk in Bay of Bengal waters at 12 nautical miles from Eastern Naval Command's headquarters in Visakhapatnam. The said torpedo was made at Goa ship yard in 1983 and its services were used for three decades. It is pertinent to mention here that very recently, a submarine turned into ashes after it caught fire killing its crew at Mumbai seashores. Watch special focus on Naval disasters of India. . . .
