Telangana government is getting ready to take severe action against striking junior doctors who have been disrupting services in hospitals since Sept 29. Junior doctors continued their protest demanding abolition of the one-year mandatory rural service imposed on them. Meanwhile, notices have been dispatched to the parents of striking doctors by TS government. The doctors, however, said all student organisations, political parties and intellectuals are supporting their strike. But, Director of Medical Education (DME) Putta Srinivas said the Government is getting ready to debar the protesting Junior Doctors and consider their strike as absence.
