Telangana Government has signed an MoU with the government of Chhattisgarh for the purchase of 1000 MW power. The agreement is scheduled to come into effect within 16 months from now. Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh has agreed to supply an additional 1000 MW to Telangana on the request of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao. The Power Grid Corporation of India has given its approval for setting up the lines between the two states. Mr Chandrashekar Rao is exploring all options to complete the entire process of getting the power from the neighboring state at the earliest. Watch the video for more details . . .
