The BCCI has asked the West Indies Cricket Board to pay a hefty amount of Rs. 250 Cr as damages after the team had abandoned its Indian tour midway and returned home. The Board of Control for Cricket in India has sought the compensation from West Indies board to avoid a law suit. BCCI has imposed the fine in order to recover the losses incurred due to West Indies pull out. So far, West Indies board has not reacted to it. The issue has surfaced during the fourth ODI in Dharmasala.
