YSRCP spokesperson Vasireddy Padma on Tuesday came down heavily on TDP govt for its decision to grant licenses to liquor shops in addition to the already existing ones targeting the poor and middle class people. Addressing a press meet, she said that the govt was interested in increasing its revenue through liquor shops. Mocking at TDP leaders'claim of cancelling 1100 licences earlier, she said now the number of shops to be granted licences would be over 13 times compared to the existing ones. She demanded the govt to stick to its decision of closing the belt shops and withdraw the idea of granting new licences.
