In the wake of disastrous impact of Hudhud cyclone in Visakha and other north coastal districts of AP, the greenery has disappeared almost every where and only skeletal structures of dried trees, twigs and leaves have been left out. Though AP government has taken steps to remove all these debris, thousands of tonnes of wastage still remained on the roads due to lack of sufficient number of dumping yards. AP government, as a preventive measure, has alerted the Visakha people and asked them not to participate in huge celebration of Diwali as bursting of crackers may pose threat of fire igniting dried trees, leaves and twigs. It has already deployed some fire engines at certain locations as a preventive measures.
