With the advent of positive buying sentiments, gold is likely to regain its lost sheen with jewellers expecting increase in sales this Dhanteras compared to last year. As per Hindu calendar, Dhantera falls on thirteenth lunar day of Krishna paksha in Kartik Masam and is celebrated just two days before the Diwali. With the gold prices lying around Rs 26,000 per 10 gram as against Rs 30,000 last year, business is expected to go up by 60-70 percent more. It is believed that buying gold today will bring luck and happiness year long.
