Prime Minister Narendra Modi met top military officers at the defence ministry War Room in Delhi today at a time when tension continued along the border with both China and Pakistan. The Combined Commanders' Conference is the first meeting of the prime minister with all top commanders, including the three service chiefs. The three service chiefs are expected to give elaborate presentations to the prime minister on the security scenario. Recent ceasefire violations by Pakistan in J & K and transgressions by China in the northeast will be discussed during the conference.
