Effective April 1, the country's second largest software services firm is going to offer an average hike of about 6.5 per cent, the sources further said.

Top performers at Infosys are to be given a hike of 9 per cent. However, salaries of onsite employees will be increased by 2 per cent, the sources revealed.

A spokesperson for Infosys confirmed the news that this is going to be the first wage hike being given out after Vishal Sikka took over as the chief executive of the firm in August last year.
