Wellington, March 21: New Zealand put up a mammoth total of 393/6 in 50 overs, thanks to Martin Guptill's unbeaten 237, in their World Cup quarterfinal against the West Indies at the Wellington Regional Stadium here on Saturday.

Guptill's double century is now the second highest individual score in One-Day Internationals after Rohit Sharma's 264.

Guptill smashed 24 boundaries and 11 sixes to bring up the highest individual score of the World Cups, beating Chris Gayle's 215 which he scored against Zimbabwe earlier in the tournament.
