KCR pats Civil Supplies Dept for very good job

Hyderabad, May.20: Chief Minister K. Chandrasekara Rao has appreciated the Civil Supplies Department for bringing rapid changes. It was possible by following Five Principles of Eradicating Corruption, Transparency, Service to Consumers, Commitment of Employees, Time Rule and also using Technical knowledge, said Commissioner of Civil Supplies C.V. Anand.
“Commissioner of Civil Supplies C.V. Anand was doing a wonderful job. His workmanship is great. In six months, he has achieved that was not possible in decades. He saved Rs 850 crore in six months”, Chief Minister K. Chandrashekara Rao stated. Regarding the appreciation from Chief Minister, the Civil Supplies Department officials, staff, rice millers and rice dealers congratulated the Commissioner on Saturday.

Addressing them, the Commissioner said. “This was not single person’s achievement. Today if I am being appreciated means every person in the department is appreciated. Every member in the Civil Supplies department from Low level to High level worked hard to get this appreciation. Hard working, honesty, liability and change in your work style to get good name is the reason today we get this applaud from our Chief Minister. We have to work hard more and should give high and good service to the people of the State to get more and more appreciations in future. We should continue this inspiration to work effectively and collectively in future also and enrich the honour of Civil Supplies Corporation by making it more reliable and honest. “We were able to save Rs 850 crores in a span of six months only. We can save more public money and can increase our corporation revenue. We have to use new modern technology to overcome the defaults in our system”.

Civil Supplies Minister Etela Rajender’s suggestions, guidance very much helped for getting this appreciation to Civil Supplies Department. Rapid changes were made in Rice distribution in Civil Supplies, Custom Milling Rice, Storage, Payment through online to farmers and so on. Reforms in Ration shops, eradicating Benami dealers helped in giving improved service to the consumer. E-Pos machines will be installed in all the ration shops. The employees should continue their support and inspiration in future also to make reforms in Ration shops, he added
