Rudy Launches Jagruthi’s Skill Development Center

Related image Hyderabad, Sept.2: Union Minister of State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Rajiv Pratap Rudy today praised Telangana Jagruthi for standing ideal at the national level by offering training for skill development among youth. He formally launched a skill development center at Hyderabad being promoted by TRS MP K Kavitha through her Telangana Jagruthi.

Speaking on the occasion, the Union Minister lauded the efforts of TRS MP for trying to encourage the youth to get necessary training in skills development and get jobs. Extending all support to Jagruthi, Rudy maintained that as many as 25,000 skill development centers would be set up across the nation and giving Rs 3000 crore for States for maintaining the centers.

Under Pradhani Kaushal Vikas Yojana, the Centre has so far spent Rs 12,000 crore and planning to spend another Rs 32,000 crore, he said. This will help roll out the skilled workers who will cater to the changing needs of the companies and industries.

The world is looking at India for its capabilities for the skilled employees and persons to provide them jobs, he remarked. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched Skill India Mission while the Centre set up a new department for skill development, Rajiv Pratap Rudy claimed.

Kavitha said that 12 skill development centers were set up across Telangana State, and they have all got recognition of the Centre. These centers, she said, will prove handy by providing necessary skills through training to the unemployed youth in the state she said
