Related image Hyderabad, Aug.31: TDP Telangana senior leader and party politburo member Ravula Chandrasekhar Reddy demanded the government to release a white paper detailing the revenue of each department during last six months.

Speaking to media, Ravula alleged that though the state government claimed it is rich, but the government was not releasing required funds for welfare programs. The budget has provision to release 25 per cent funds every quarterly. But it has released only 15 per cent though five months elapsed. “It was unfortunate that funds were not released for old age pension, students fee reimbursement and Arogyashree programs affecting their implementation”, he alleged.

Ravula asked whether it was not a fact that Chief Minister KCR has asked the Treasury to stop payments to welfare schemes till October next. But funds are being released to big contractors, he quipped.

The TDP leader alleged that promises made by TRS are not fulfilled. Providing 12 per cent reservation to girijans and minorities, double bed room houses, three acres land to Dalits and to make Dalit as chief minister of the state are the promises which failed to materialize till now, he alleged. He also warned that people will teach a lesson if the TRS government failed to work sincerely for the welfare of people.
