Sindhu made India proud: Governor

Related image Hyderabad, Aug.22: Governor ESL Narasimhan and first lady Vimala Narasimhan today felicitated PV Sindhu, Rio Olympics Silver medalist, her Guru Pullela Gopichand and Kidambi Srikanth at a ceremony at Raj Bhavan here. Besides offering sweet, shawl Narasimhan also presented them replicas of Lord Venkateshwara to them and wished them all the best in future endeavours.

Speaking on the occasion, the Governor noted that Sindhu made India proud and became ideal for future generation besides getting Khel Ratna award. Narasimhan also said that Gopichand is a great trainer who picks up intelligent students to win international events and brings laurels to the nation.

Those with the blessings of Mother, Father, Guru and God will sure win in their endeavours, he stated. Indeed it is a wonderful combination to clinch the medals at Rio, and it is pride moment to cherish on the governor stated.
