Get back the old spark, leaders tell Chandrababu

Wed, Aug 03, 2016, 05:00 PM
Political leaders and analysts see the old magic is missing from Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu somehow. They do not think that the promised Special Category Status is a big deal for Chandrababu to achieve.
Undavalli sees some crucial link in Chandrababu's train of thought is missing when he achieved big things such as assumption of power as Chief Minister of combined Andhra Pradesh, building Hi-Tech City and so on.

The latest to join the praising lot is Yarapathineni Srinivas Rao, TDP MLA. He said despite making as many as 29 visits to Delhi, the Centre had not conceded his SCS demand. He saw a conspiracy in the denial. Srinivas Rao did not reveal what conspiracy he saw there.

In this connection, he pointed out that Chandrababu was senior than Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself. He could have become the Prime Minister if he had wanted after Deve Gowda gave up the gaddi. This fact should be remembered by the BJP.

While Srinivas Rao would leave it to the goodwill of the BJP, Undavalli Arun Kumar believed that a crisis would bring out the best in Chandrababu, only if he had the nerve and started threatening the Centre …
SCS would be a reality for AP.
