The Telangana YSR Congress Party has said that the KCR government should own responsibility for the leakage of EAMCET-2 paper leak and should not put the students and parents to further trauma, as it has failed in the smooth conduct of the exam.

Speaking to the media in Hyderabad on Friday, party leader K Shiva Kumar said that the Chief Minister’s silence would not answer the problems and he should own up responsibility for the leakage which had led to the trauma of students and parents alike.

It was a total failure on party of the government as it had failed to take precautionary measures while imposing strict measures on the part of the students in terms of timings, entry and other issues. The State cannot take refuge in the name of report that has to come but should bring to book all those responsible in the scam and see that the students are not put to further pressure.

The State seemed to be leaning towards corporate colleges but it should mend ways and come to the rescue of the students, he said.

The police action against parents and students at the Secretariat is highly condemnable and we demand that the will of the people should prevail. We express solidarity with the parents and demand that the future of the students should not be affected, YCP said. He sought stringent action those who are responsible for the leakage of the paper.
