JNTU, printing press staff involved in EAMCET-2 paper leakage

Tue, Jul 26, 2016, 10:54 AM
The CID has traced the leakage of EAMCET-2 Paper to some of the employees of the JNTU that organises the test and those in the printing press where the question papers are published. The CID further found that there was the hand of two of the employees, Kumar and Dayakar.

Kumar's daughter, in particular, received 23,000 rank in the test conducted by Andhra Pradesh and 13th rank in the leaked test by Telangana.

The CID said the ranks of five of the students were suspect. The reason for their strong suspicion was the disappearance of these five students for the past one week.

While the EAMCET-2 paper leakage was strongly alleged by Opposition leaders who said the leakage had favoured the rich to the detriment of the poor students, no case had been filed so far by the police. Following the opposition outcry, the government had to order a probe. Now the CID said that it would expose the leakage as facts become known during their investigations.
