DNA test to be done on Cynthia'a child

Mon, Jul 11, 2016, 03:55 PM
Following a petition by murder accused Rupesh Agarwal's mother, Lalita Devi, as to the custody of 5-year-old Sania, whose father had killed its mother, the Rajendranagar court in Rangareddy district on Monday ruled that pending the court decision, the child would be with the Child Welfare Committee. The court told the CC Police to comply with the order.

The court also directed a DNA test for the 5-year-old Sania to confirm that the person whose body parts were burnt was actually her mother Cynthia.

The court will give its orders tomorrow about the custody of the murder accused.

The Congolese embassy representative Brigitte was present in the court.

The local residents who informed the police about the burning of body parts in the bush at Shamshabad and ensured the car of the murder accused was mired in slush were rewarded by the police as Good Citizens.
