Mon, Jul 11, 2016, 02:16 PM
Curbs and caution are the order of the day in international travel ever since shooting at and by African Americans and ISIS blasts in Western countries.

Three countries have cautioned their citizens about travel to America which is witnessing increasing shootings of late.

Bahrain, Bahamas and United Arab Emirates have cautioned their respective citizens traveling to America. Bahrain told its travelers to be an American while in America at least in dress, fearing the flowing Arabic robes would give them away.

The tiny Caribbean nation of Bahamas told its young to fall in line with cops' directives while in the US and don't try to retaliate, as the cops might be trigger happy.

The UAE told its students and others, `Please be aware of immediate surroundings and avoid crowded places. Excercise particular caution during large festivals or events, be alert and stay safe.'

On its part, the US had given routine warnings to its citizens traveling to Bangladesh, Venezuela, Iraq and Mali.
