Cyberabad West CP honors trio who helped solve Congolese woman’s murder

Hyderabad, July 10: Commissioner of Police of Cyberabad West V. Naveen Chand, IPS, felicitated three persons .. Kummari Venkatesh, 30, Nenavath Lal Singh Naik, 33, and Katta Ramchander, 32. All residents of Madanpally village under Shamshabad Mandal, who helped in the detection of a gruesome murder of a Congo national, Cynthia Vechel Kadima, who was murdered by her husband and also in the arrest of accused Rupesh Kumar Mohanani.

The police also seized the vehicle from the place where the accused burned the body of Cynthia Vechel Kadima on the outskirts of Madanpally village. The CP maintained that but for the timely action of these three good citizens, the murder case was detected and embarrassment to Government more particularly Cyberabad Police was avoided.

Had the trio not acted on time, the case would have gone undetected as the accused was burning the dead body to screen the evidence. There is a lot of appreciation from all corners of society for the help done by these three citizens. The CP also rewarded them with cash and presented a good citizen certificate to them. He appealed to all the citizens to help police for better safety and security of all the citizens in the society in Cyberabad limits.
