TDP locks its doors as YCP is coming to tap them

Thu, Jul 07, 2016, 11:28 AM
The ruling TDP is locking its doors even as the opposition YCP is about to take up its `Intinti Gadapa' programme to tap every door in Andhra Pradesh to expose the alleged corruption of the ruling party.

Even before the programme, set to take off on Friday, began, TDP senior leader and Housing Corporation chairman Varla Ramaiah cautioned the people: `Beware YCP people are coming.' The housing chief told the people, `Beware those accused in 11 cases are coming.'

On its part, the YCP is getting set for the programme with new leaders and pamphlets to expose the corrupt practices in the ruling party. The YCP is going into the people to explain to them the misdeeds and money-making of the ruling party leaders.

Addressing the media in Vijayawada, Ramaiah told the people the accused are coming, so the people must keep their homes safe.

The housing chief described the YCP as a dead party and said the opposition chief was a power monger. He claimed the people had already given Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu hundred out of hundred marks for good governance. He would like to know how many marks YS Jaganmohan Reddy would get from the people? He wanted the question about Jagan to be included in the pamphlets that the YCP would be bringing out.

But he continued he was sure that the YCP leader would get zero marks from the people. If it's otherwise, he would cut his ear.
