It's for KCR to allot a HC building for remnant state: Muddu

Thu, Jun 30, 2016, 06:09 PM
Reacting to the agitation of judges and advocates in Telangana State, TDP MLC and senior party leader Gali Muddukrishnama Naidu on Thursday said Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has already written a letter to the Centre for early bifurcation of the Andhra Pradesh High Court.

Speaking to the media in Hyderabad, Muddukrishnama Naidu said the Chief Minister had written to the Centre in 2014 itself for bifurcation of the High Court. As per the AP Re-organization Act, AP has a right to stay in Hyderabad for 10 years.

Who will oppose if Telangana Chief Minister KCR is ready to spare a suitable building with all facilities for a separate High Court? he asked.

He alleged that the institutions envisaged under Schedule 9 and 10 of the Act have been made inactive and the same people were leveling baseless charges against Chandrababu Naidu.

The TDP leader alleged that by using the public sentiment, important issues were being diverted.

The AP government had given a plan to Singapore which had a plan for the High Court in Amaravati.

When the State itself was divided, who is interested or wanted a common High Court? The High Court bifurcation issue was in the hands of the Central government and the TDP had nothing to do with it, he added.

He also alleged that the YSRCP has been creating hurdles in the development of Amaravati by levelling baseless charges against the ruling party.
