Related image Union Minister for Urban Development & Parliamentary Affairs M Venkaiah Naidu said on Friday that the lotus was blooming in the country. It would continue to bloom in 2019 also.

“Lotus, the party symbol, is blooming across the country. The BJP is now ruling the country and it secured 14.5 per cent votes in Kerala and got 10.7 per cent though the Communists and the Congress unitedly contested elections in West Bengal. The BJP government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is being recognized by world leaders and the BJP is the largest party in the world. The people of India are eager to re-elect Modi government in 2019, too”.

Venkaiah was given a warm welcome when he arrived at Shamshabad airport from Vijayawada. He was welcomed by Telangana leaders on being elected as the Rajya Sabha member from Rajasthan.

Later, he went to the BJP State office at Nampally where a reception was organized by party cadre and leaders.

Speaking on the occasion, he said ‘’The BJP is like my mother as I occupied various posts and worked in various capacities because of the party”.

Despite hurdles, the party leaders and workers always worked for strengthening the organization and never deviated from the path of party’s ideology.

The Union Minister said the greatest achievement of the NDA government was that it remained scam-free and scandal-free. It provided good governance to the nation.

The Opposition parties are, however, not able to digest the achievements of the NDA government. “The world leaders are looking towards Narendra Modi and described him as a `Reformer, Performer and Transformer '”.

The reception was attended by Union Minister Bandaru Dattatreya, Telangana State party chief Dr K Laxman, MLAs G Kishan Reddy and Chintala Ramachandra Reddy, AP minister Kamineni Srinivas, MLC Ramchender Rao and others.
