Mon, Jun 13, 2016, 05:58 PM
A school in Midnapore district in West Bengal had moved from pillar to post to get grants for the school's development, but they got nothing out of their efforts.

In the end, they teachers and students of the Swarnamaya Sasmal Siksha Niketan wrote one letter to Bharat Ratna Sachin Tendulkar about funds for the school's development. Lo and behold, they received a grant of Rs 76 lakhs from Sachin's MP's Development Fund.

The students and teachers are elated. They are happy that the school is on the verge of development because of Sachin's funds. They now wish to write to Didi to give some more funds.

The school with a 50-year history has 900 students on its rolls.
