Mudragada alleges Chandrababu hand in Tuni, threatens indefinite fast over arrests

Wed, Jun 08, 2016, 03:59 PM
From the freedom of home, Kapu Supremo Mudragada Padmanabham on Wednesday charged Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu with having a hand in the Tuni violence.

He further alleged that Chandrababu wanted to bring about a split in the Kapu unity and, therefore, had a hand in Tuni violence.

Mudragada wanted the Kapu youth arrested in Tuni violence to be released immediately. He said if they were not released forthwith, he would go on indefinte fast unto death. This time he meant it, he said.

To prove the Chandrababu hand in Tuni violence, he asked why was he not ordering a CBI inquiry, and why only a CID inquiry. This was done in order that Chandrababu did not want his role in Tuni to be exposed by a CBI inquiry, he alleged.

The redeeming feature of the Kapu agitation, Mudragada said, was Kapu unity for the first time.
