The video of Annie's frank talk on drug menace

A 15-year-old girl from Kerala, Annie Rubu Josh, has sent a six-minute video to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, describing addiction to narcotics as a greater evil than extremism.

Seeking a response from the Prime Minister to her appeal to tackle the menace of narcotics, Annie sought measures from the Centre to fight the evil.

She puts a straight question that when the drug mafia in the country was so widespread, how could the country hope to develop.

The girl said she had lost her father to painful liver cancer. After that Annie and her friends have started Anti-Drug Initiative - Fortune and fighting narcotic menace.

The video in English was uploaded on the social media, where it is making waves.

Annie belongs to culture-rich Thrissur in Kerala.
