Abandoned bag warns Kanhaiya, Omar Khaled with gun

Fri, Apr 15, 2016, 03:45 PM
As Jawaharlal Nehru Students Union president Kanhaiya Kumar is getting wide publicity for his characteristic sloganeering, he is also getting deeper into political skulduggery.

In the Delhi city bus that goes from Kashmirigate to JNU, a bag was left abandoned. As the curious poeple opened it, they found a gun and a letter that threatens to kill Kanhaiya Kumar and Umar Khaled, his associate, who were responsible for holding a seditious meeting on the JNU campus.

The letter warns the two JNU students leaders that there were already men in the JNU waiting for an opportunity to kill the two students leaders.

The police have registered a case and are investigating. They suspect that the gun and the letter must have been the handiwork of the man who left a post in Facebook. That post also said there were already men in the JNU who could kill the two students leaders anytime.

The police thus alerted have tightened the security on the JNU campus and also for the students leaders.

The leaving of the gun is not a prank: It indicates something real. It indicates that the other way round is also real. That it's a stunt by interested parties to draw sympathy could also be a real.
