Stay Uncle to make Valentines licit lovers

Wed, Apr 13, 2016, 03:38 PM
We have seen or heard how lovers are chased in the Sub-Continent, come Valentine's Day. All this is behind, as the society is becoming more and more liberal on its Victorian attitude.

Now the lovers will have to just say, `Stay Uncle', and they have all the privacy in leading hotels in many parts of India.

`Stay Uncle' is an innovative idea to cater to lovers by the hotel industry. Started by Sanchit Sethia, Stay Uncle is a start-up that caters to unmarried couples in premiem hotels of Delhi, Gurgaon, Mumbai, Simla, Bangalore and Patiala.

However, Stay Uncle is not for free. For a couple to spend quality time, they will have to shell down anywhere between Rs 1200 to Rs 5000 for a 12-hour leisure. They will have to engage Stay Uncle in advance.

The hotel industry is upbeat over Stay Uncle. The idea is likely to transform the entire hotel industry, say leading hoteliers.
