ISRO launches PSLV C-32 successfully

Indian Space Research Organisation launched PSLV C-32 in the IRS Series from Sriharikota at 4 pm on Thursday.

It was a perfect launch, with the rocket shooting into space spewing yellow fumes.

This is 52nd flight in the PSLV series and sixth in the IRS series. It is totally indigenous effort.

The satellite is expected to improve the navigation systems of the country.

Ultimately, the satellite is going to be kept 550 km above the earth for helping the navigations in the country. The weight of the satellite is over 500 km.

The satellite's life is for 12 years.
