Sat, Feb 06, 2016, 05:10 PM
When you are stuck to the hobby horse, what do the real horses do? They go racing to the bank without handicaps.

Chris Hill Scott (29) found himself on the hobby horse after he developed a software called Swift Key along with friends John Ronald (30) and Ben McLock (36).

Fed up with routine life, Chris thought he had better pursue his hobby of photography. He sold his shares cheap to friends and resigned as Director of the software company. He then purchased a bicycle to go pedalling for photographs.

Swift Key developed speed after the Chris' exit. The software rapidly spread to 47 countries and acquired 100 different language versions.

At this stage, Microsoft purchased the software from the two remaining friends and gave them shares worth Rs.2500 crore each. The friends are racing to the banks to collect their profits.

Chris realized he had lost a good deal in his hobby horse. He is back in software business, now as website designer for a government website.
