The worst password of 2015!

Wed, Jan 20, 2016, 12:18 PM
Do you know the worst password of 2015? It is 123456.

Do you know the second worst password of 2015?
It is Football.

Both the passwords were widely used on the Internet worldwide.

These easy passwords have been condemned by Google and Apple and other agencies, but people the world over continue to use them. The agencies put the burden of security on the users. And the hackers find it easy to hack the users means and steal data.

The point is there are too many websites, and it is not easy to remember more than a limited number of passwords by each person. To write down passwords for each site is also not possible, because it would take a long time to retrieve a password.

Now that Google, Apple and other internet MNCs are so rich and so resourceful, the burden of securing a password should rest on them. Protecting users should be their motto. You take all the rub, we take all the moola is not fair.

Netbanking, online banking, e-commerce etc are all uncharted waters for many peoples. So the internet agencies should evolve a method by which they could curb stealing of passwords at least online.
