Skinny jeans pants reduce sperm count

Fri, Jan 15, 2016, 03:43 PM
The young the world over sport tight jeans for smart looks. But they maybe running the risk of a reduced sperm count, according to a medical study.

The study finds that the number of men suffering from testicular problems is on the rise. This is due to the tight jeans/denims pants they wear. The jeans cause injuries leading to reduction in the sperm count.

The sperm count in men, on an average, used to be 150 million and above. But this has fallen to 140 million since the advent of the jeans culture.

Jeans are prefered by youths because the trousers do not have to be washed like other cloth. In fact, the shabbier, torn, pock marked, deliberately shot, skinny and ill-fitting jeans give a more macho look. But they are losing out on the real side, it concludes.

One in seven British men regularly wears skinny jeans, but more than one-third of them admit they do not know the correct size.

The study implies that if the jeans have enough space for the groin, it causes no problems.
