South Africa trail India by 296 runs at tea

New Delhi, Dec 4: South Africa, at 38/1, trailed India by 296 runs in their first innings at tea on the second day of the fourth and final cricket Test being played at the Ferozeshah Kotla here on Friday.

India were bowled out for 334 just after lunch, with Ajinkya Rahane scoring 127 runs while pacer Kyle Abbot had the best figures of 5/40.

In reply, the visitors managed to score 38 runs but lost Dean Elgar (17), who was caught behind.
